What does “rabbit hair” describe?
“Rabbit-hair quartz” is a commercial description for quartz with fine, fur-like inclusions. Published gemological work documents different internal features in different samples.
The name is useful for discussing appearance, but it does not establish one universal inclusion mineral for every bead.

How to make the texture visible
Try two textured beads as a focal pair, separated by a clear bead, then repeat calmer colors around the rest of the bracelet. Compare a light background with a dark one: a fine pattern may disappear in a busy palette.
A preview image helps arrange colors, but it cannot show the exact inclusion pattern of the bead you will receive.
Questions worth asking
Ask about the actual material name, any known treatment, whether the photo represents the exact stock or a sample, and how much variation to expect. Do not use scratch, flame or chemical tests on finished jewelry.
If identification is essential, request appropriate laboratory evidence rather than relying on a seller’s decorative name.
Compare selections in the designer
Enter your measured bare-wrist size, open Free design and choose the corresponding material category. Compare diameter, arrangement and accents, then review the price and planning estimate. Catalogue previews do not promise an identical pattern in every physical bead.
