A glow that moves with the light
Moonstone is a feldspar gem known for its floating sheen. Trade naming can be complicated: “rainbow moonstone” is commonly a related feldspar, transparent labradorite.
A blue flash alone does not establish the exact variety. Ask about the material sold under the particular product name.

Designing around a subtle sheen
Gray moonstone can sit between white and black as a quiet transition. For a pale composition, compare it with clear quartz and one pink accent.
Leave some visual space around a statement bead: heavily patterned neighbors may compete with a soft sheen. Ask to see the material in motion if the flash is the feature you care most about.
Moonstone needs more protection from knocks
GIA lists moonstone at Mohs 6–6.5 with poor toughness. Take the bracelet off for exercise, lifting and household work.
Avoid ultrasonic and steam cleaning. Wipe the assembled bracelet gently, do not leave it soaking, and store it separately from harder jewelry that could rub against it.
Compare selections in the designer
Enter your measured bare-wrist size, open Free design and choose the corresponding material category. Compare diameter, arrangement and accents, then review the price and planning estimate. Catalogue previews do not promise an identical pattern in every physical bead.
